Creation of Next-generation Communication Platform: 'LINK to the Future'

NetIndex Inc. Representative Director and President Masayasu Uno

Twenty-two years after establishment, we introduced a new corporate name and re-launched our business as a member of the Index Group.

On the heels of commercialization of the Internet, we have entered an era of drastic change in the nature of communications. Information and communication technologies have advanced aggressively through 'creation and destruction' - and 'survival of the fittest' applies to all, so that even minor players can compete alongside industry majors.

The Index Group's fast business pace has given it a large market share and the company continues to enter new, related markets in the emerging and highly competitive field of wireless content distribution. It is this forward moving momentum that we, as a company, must assimilate to spur our growth.

"The convergence of media and communication" will shift next-generation communications infrastructures to a focus on content. In synergy with the Index Group, we have determined that Mobile & Wireless communications and digital home networks will be our business segments. We will advance with the corporate philosophy of 'Link to the Future;' striving to develop the next-generation's communication platform - and we fully intend to lead the contribution to ubiquitous communications.
